Welcome to our Grade R classes.
- Teachers that are passionate about school readiness.
- A daily program that is designed to accommodate the CAPS curriculum.
- A daily program that ensures optimum learning aimed at complete school readiness.
- Opportunities for your child to develop holistically: emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically , spiritually.
- Environments that are aimed at developing independence. Breakfast, two snacks and a cooked lunch.
- First steps of CODING and STEAM activities. STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths.
School Program
Programme for the Primary School: Gr. 1 – 3
7:45 – School starts
First break: 9:45 – 10:15
Lunch break: 12:00 – 12:30
Formal School programme ends at 13:30
Homework for Gr. 1 – 3 is either done during school time or in groups after school. There will be no homework on Fridays.
Programme for the Primary School: Gr. 4 – 7
7:45 – School starts
Break: 10:45 – 11:15
Formal School Programme ends at 14:00 and on a Friday at 13:30
Learners who stay for aftercare eat lunch at 14:00
Homework for Gr. 4 – 7 starts at 14:30 in the homework room
Formal school programme ends 13:30 for Gr. 1 and 14:00 for Gr. 2 and Gr. 3
Trips and Outings:
Gr. 1 – 7 learners have the opportunity to go on various outings during the year.
School camps:
Confidence College organises adventure camps for Gr 4 – 7 learners to attend. Details are communicated in the school newsletter throughout the year.
Extra Murals at School
Ballet
A total of 25 dancers from Confidence College participated in the DASA Ballet exams and Performance medals. Well done to each and EVERYONE of you – you mastered your work and have been promoted to the next technical dance level! Congratulations. The dancers will each receive their medal and certificate at the end of the year.
